T'n'T wedding Day!

I met Theresa and Thirstan a year ago this January. It's been so awesome getting to know them. I'm constantly saddened by the fact they live in Ottawa and I only sometimes get to see them! Definitely peeps that I'd want to hand out with on the regular.

They pretty much planned their wedding 'long distance' but I was blown away with all the gorgeous details that made their day even more beautiful. From the dress, to the shoes, the flowers, the change in hair styles from a 'Day' to 'Night' look, it seemed that nothing was unaccounted for!

I especially loved that photography and documenting their special day was an uber important part of their day. They wanted to go all out and have a full 12 hour day. And so it was.

John and I started bright and early at 10am, and finished a staggering 12 hours later. The day simply flew by, and we barely noticed until we woke up the next day and felt our sore feet!

Love is in the air!

Shame on me for not making time for my beloved blog! Usually in the winter things slow down and I get fat on the couch watching 6 season's worth of some kind of tv series. Not this winter!

3 gorgeous winter weddings, lots of photoshoots, and a Valentine's Day fundraiser to benefit a charity which is dear to our family's heart, the KW Alzheimer Society.

I whipped together 2 different sets for some fun and adorable Valentines' day photos. Here are a few images that I absolutely LOVE! The Easter sets are already in production and dates will be announced for another fast and fun mini session!

And then there was Jackie....

I've spoken about a beautiful talent named Jackie before. She is the owner of The Flower Studio, here in Waterloo and she does some pretty fanciful work with blooms. Here are a few brides we've worked with who asked Jackie to create their dream bouquets: She single-handedly brightens people's day with her gorgeous arrangements, and her cheery personality and smile somehow make the flowers even more beautiful. Today, she came by the office bearing gifts!! I am so blessed to call her a friend. She is warm, funny, caring, and will do anything to make someone feel special. Aside from a warm hug, also known as a Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks, here is what's currently blessing my desk with its Autumn beauty:

Autumn is my absolute favourite season of the year - summer coming in a close 2nd. It's the brilliant colours everywhere, the pumpkins, Halloween for the kiddies, especially the cozy sweaters, warm lattes, homemade soups and stews! Jackie is really one in a million,anyone would be lucky to call her a friend,and the special magic that she adds to brides and grooms wedding day is just awesome!
