Gorgeous Victoria Park Maternity Session - Jeni & Roly

About a week and half ago I met up with a super special Mommy-to-Be and her handsome husband at Victoria park, here in Kitchener. I stepped out of the car, turned the corner and saw them and pretty much stopped dead in my tracks. They were dressed head-to-toe glam-gorgeous! Jen, who has been my wonderfully talented hair stylist for a long time, was wearing the prettiest, most delicate, feminine flowy gown in a soft pink. Hair and makeup to the nine's and Roly, was just as smartly dressed in a dress shirt and sport jacket. Well you'll see what I mean by there photos below. I literally told them I could have put the camera on a tripod that day because everything they game me was gold. Pure magic. Every shot was just to die for. To say this couple has style might be a slight understatement, but one thing I know for sure is that this little princess that's on her way is going to born with excellent taste, and just beautiful parents, inside and out. These two share such a special connection, and their love for one another is beyond evident. Their love together made me smile and it seemed the sun shined a little brighter when they were around.

It was such a privilege photographing Jeni and Roly, and I can't wait to photograph their new little person once she arrives!

Sopar Park, Cambridge Ontario - Family Photo Session

Spring has finally sprung, after a few false starts! I met up with a terrific family, including the kids and grandparents in Cambridge at beautiful and versatile "Sopar Park". It had been a little while since they had updated their family photos, and with the nice weather here we set a date. And then we rescheduled, thanks to Mother Nature. And then I believe we rescheduled again, thanks to Mother Nature. lol

At long last, here we were. I got out of the car and was faced with nothing but smiles and some very smartly dressed people.

One of the things I love best when I meet new friends, is hitting it off, easy camaraderie and someone in the group who isn't afraid of cracking a few jokes and getting everyone laughing!

I soon discovered that the Matriarch and Patriarch of the family would soon be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! What a momentous and inspiring occasion!

Before all too long, we were headed back to our cars, commenting on how easy it had been, and of course hearing the comment, "that was actually pretty fun!" Ahhh - sweet music to my ears.

I couldn't be happier with this family session, and here, are a few highlights of our time together!

gorgeous Kitchener Engagament session... with a campfire!

Today was just such an awesome Sunday! Andrea and Jesse came over to my place, which was special, because I hardly ever get to shoot an engagement session in my own backyard! The weather was incredible. Its hard to believe this is February! Living in Kitchener means having campfire is totally legal, so we got set up with hot chocolate, marshmallows and cozy blankets and had a blast! It definitely doesn't hurt having a forest in the back either. These two are so fun, and super in love. It made me even more excited for their wedding this coming October! It was so great spending time with them and making some yummy s'mores!
