gorgeous Kitchener Engagament session... with a campfire!

Today was just such an awesome Sunday! Andrea and Jesse came over to my place, which was special, because I hardly ever get to shoot an engagement session in my own backyard! The weather was incredible. Its hard to believe this is February! Living in Kitchener means having campfire is totally legal, so we got set up with hot chocolate, marshmallows and cozy blankets and had a blast! It definitely doesn't hurt having a forest in the back either. These two are so fun, and super in love. It made me even more excited for their wedding this coming October! It was so great spending time with them and making some yummy s'mores!

Shooting Melanie and Neil's beautiful Stratford wedding was definitely a highlight of my wedding season last year! They had such an awesome bridal party, and incorporated lots of colour into their rustic decor!

Some of my all time favourite weddings to photograph take place at golf and country clubs and in rural country towns or farms! Being a prairie girl myself, I always fall in love with being surrounded by lushness found in fields, or the calmness in a green golf course.

Melanie was just astounding on the day of her wedding. A complete dream, even with out hair, makeup and a wedding dress, she is nothing short of a complete goddess.
